There are two types of Articles in Portuguese: Indefinite articles and Definite articles.

• Every noun has a 'gender' in Portuguese, Feminine nouns usually end with "a" and Masculine nouns end with "o". There are exceptions, but even with them, every noun has a gender.

Definite Articles

• Same as 'the' in English;
